Study at Johns Hopkins Medical Center published in July, 2004 issue of The Journal of American Ophthalmology

  • after many years of contacting the blepharospasm foundation, I sent a final letter explaining my disappointment and frustration with their failure to pay attention to my viable option for people with dystonia and blepharospasm
  • the result was an offer to do a study for me at the Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins Medical Center
  • unfortunately there was an unwillingness to follow the program I had taken, and as a result I thought it would not be a successful study
  • the actual results showed success with 3 out of 24 participants
  • this was because of providing a much lower amount than I took, together with the continuance of administering Botox to the participants
  • the lead doctor told me that any dystonia patients who wished to try this food for several months, should do so, because of its safety which was proven by the study
  • I was further told that I was expected to be helping more people in the future, which is happening every day and those stories are published on my testimonial page
